Q – “How old do you need to be to get a piercing or tattoo?”
A –Here’s the deal…
If you are under the age of 18, you MUST have a documented CUSTODIAL PARENT or LEGAL GUARDIAN present.*
-Under California State Law, the parent/guardian must present a valid state or federal ID, as well as a copy of the original Birth Certificate for the minor in question (regardless of physical resemblance, matching residential addresses, etc) each time the minor in question wishes to be pierced* (Acceptable parental I.D. examples are: State Driver’s License, State I.D. Card, Military I.D., or Passport.)
-For any piercing other than ear lobes, the minor must also be able to present a valid photo ID (school ID, state ID, etc).
**Children must be at least 5 years old to receive ear piercings.**
**You absolutely MUST be 18 or older to receive dermal anchors/surface piercings, tongue, nipple or genital piercings! No exceptions.**
**No one under the age of 18 may be tattooed, under any circumstances, ever.**
Q – “How much are your piercings?”
A – They range from $15-$50, depending on what you’re getting pierced. Please refer to our Price List for details.
Q – “How much do your tattoos start at?”
A – The shop minimum is $150. No negotiations. No low-balling. No. Stop it.
Q – “Do I need to make an appointment to get a piercing?”
A – No, all piercing procedures are first come, first serve.
Q – “So I can just come in and get pierced?”
A – Yep, piercings are all first come, first serve.
Q – “I’m 10 minutes away, can I put my name down?”
A – No, sorry, we pierce on a first come first serve basis.
Q – “Are you going to be busy in about 2 hours?”
A – Due to budget cuts, we fired our fortune teller.
Q – “Do you sell ‘gauges’?”
A – Technically, no. We sell jewelry. The term ‘gauge’ is a reference to size, but yes we do offer many styles of jewelry that cater to stretched earlobes.
Q – “How do I go about getting a tattoo?”
A – The easiest thing to do would be to come into the shop. Otherwise, you can email email@example.com and schedule a consultation with one of the artists.
Q – “Why is your jewelry so expensive?”
A – It’s really not for what you’re getting. We are very conscientious about the jewelry we sell and pierce with. We do NOT sell costume jewelry.
Q – “If I bring in my own jewelry, will you pierce me with it?”
A – If you have already purchased the jewelry elsewhere, then you may bring it in for our consideration, however we will ONLY pierce with jewelry that is INTERNALLY THREADED and considered implantable grade by APP standards.
Q – “What do you recommend I do to take care of my piercing/tattoo?”
